A 14-year-old boy was able to provide not only for his own future but also for the life of his parents.

Kieron Williamson is about to turn 14, but he’s already known throughout Britain and even referred to as a prodigy or “little Monet.”

It all started approximately 10 years ago when the boy painted his first landscape at a family gathering. Kieron began painting when he was just four years old. Almost all of his works depict landscapes around Norfolk, where he lives, and Cornwall, where he loves to vacation.

The boy puts his soul into his paintings, and it shows right away. His works even caught the attention of Japan, the United States, and Germany. He became famous thanks to his talent.

By the age of eight, Kieron was selling his paintings at auctions. At nine years old, he sold around 33 works for $235,000 in just an hour. He sold 23 paintings on the Internet for $360,000 in just 20 minutes. Thus, an ordinary schoolboy was able to earn $2.2 million. Kieron invests all his earnings into his own company, Kieron Williamson Ltd, which is run by his parents.

Today, Kieron Williamson is one of the richest children in Britain and one of the most famous child artists. The prices for his paintings are quite high, ranging from $3,500 to $30,000.

The boy sold his first paintings in 2009. With the money he earned, he was able to buy a new home for his family.

“Everyone in the art world believes that his works have improved significantly compared to last year. His latest paintings are just phenomenal. We don’t push him. He just paints when he wants to,” say his parents.

Gallery manager Adrian Hill, who oversaw the sales, said, “I’ve seen how his skill has grown compared to last year. It seems he’s reached a new level.”
